Miss Mason was entirely without any thought of herself, she never dwelt upon details that concerned herself alone. When asked if she would not dictate some notes of her life her only reply was, -- "My dear, my life does not matter. I have no desire that it should ever be written. It is the work that matters and, I say it with all reverence, it will some day (not in my lifetime) be seen to be one of the greatest things that has happened in the world."
